Yes. Although Cannabis may not be legal where you live (yet), sharing what you learn about this plant is not illegal. We have Cannabis Educators from all over the US, Canada and the world. 

We are not lawyers and as such will never give legal advice, but will always ask that you follow local laws, even as you advocate against those policies to abolish prohibition in your area. 

If you’re already a yoga teacher, nurse, culinary professional, nutritionist, health coach, massage therapist, or other health and wellness professional, you’re perfectly positioned to start helping others with cannabis by becoming a Certified Cannabis Educator.

Not at all. We’ve designed our curriculum so that it’s possible to enter as a beginner, but still interesting if you’re an expert. If you have limited (or no) experience with cannabis, we’ll make sure you learn everything you need to know, and nothing you don’t. 

We won’t use any terminology without explaining it, and you’ll get hands on practice talking about cannabis until you’re so comfortable with it it’ll be like saying “pass the salt”. 

I came into this program not knowing anything. High school was maybe my last real experience. I knew there was a lot more to it and knew the industry was moving in an interesting direction. We also go beyond information and teach you how to facilitate transformation. You’ll learn the skills to apply what you already know to help people get healthier without overwhelming them. We’ve had students in the program who were engineers, rocket scientists and PhD’s who found the program to be educationally fulfilling.

Our courses are designed to be taken 100% online. Unlike many training programs that are scrambling to move their offerings to the web due to the coronavirus, our program was born on the internet and that’s what it was made for. 

We know the ins and outs of online learning and know exactly what an online program needs to be so that you can find success in it. We built in accountability, support, and community, so even though the program is entirely virtual, it doesn’t feel robotic.

With accountability and community support built into the program, we know you can do this. We keep the vibe up, the work interesting, and the fun levels high. This isn’t the kind of program you have to drag yourself to.

Goodness no. We would never drown you in TMI. You’ll go through this program week by week. We’ve curated the content so it shows up right when you need it. This will help keep you on track and on pace to finish the program and complete the certification requirements.

In order to gain your Certified Cannabis Educator certification within the 8 week time frame, expect to spend 4-6 hours a week on the program. You have 12 months to complete the program, so if you need more time, you’ve got it.

For.ev.er. This program is a professional resource for you. You keep it forever so you can go back and grab handouts, look things up, or redo parts of the program when you need a refresher. Not only do you get to keep your program, but you’ll also get any new updates to the program. You’ll never have to enroll again to get the most up-to-date information.

We sure do! One of the highlights of our month is our Grad Calls where we meet with passionate Cannabis Educators and Coaches from around the world.

Together we celebrate, brainstorm, collaborate (and sometimes commiserate!) Oftentimes you’ll be the only Cannabis Educator you know so having a community of like-minded people in your “pocket” is a real plus.

Yes. We’ve had several students who didn’t personally use cannabis, but saw the benefits others were experiencing, did the research, and felt called to do this work. If you’re a health and wellness professional, your clients may already be talking to you about CBD or asking you about cannabis. 

If you feel called to educate other people about this medicine, but don’t feel called to use it yourself, we’re here to help you understand what your audience is going through, what they may need help with, and how to help them deeply understand the plant.

We offer a limited amount of need-based scholarships to women, veterans, BIPOC, and people who have been directly impacted by the ongoing war on drugs and who can powerfully demonstrate their commitment and vision to this work. If you believe you qualify for financial aid apply here.
